Ralib senior branch manager of Sixt, the worst think that I have ever seen and listen. Manager who says to the customer, your reservation is 200€, but if you want the car, you must pay 500€ because we are almost fully booked !!! If they dont have a car, can manage the reservation putting on request, and not for a confirmed reservation to create BAZAR conversation. This kind of management is better to be for selling pancakes akd not rent cars, specially to be part of Sixt. I send this case to HQ of Sixt in Pullach

We reserved a BMW Series 2 Active Tour sedan for 13 days. When we arrived at the Lille Airport we were told that that the vehicle was not available, nor was any other vehicle in the same category. The agent then offered us a "bargain" on an upgrade to a Mercedes for 400 euros. We refused and said we would take the Series 1 BMW, which there were 2 on the lot. The agent said the Series

We had such a smooth and efficient experience collecting our car. We had booked through other car hire companies and been let down when we arrived but Sixt were very good and assured us that the vehicle would be there and waiting! Esteban was so calming and helpful at the collection desk and gave us all the information we needed. The car is lovely and clean, and we can finally continue our holiday after a horrendous start!

When renting an EV Nissan Leaf for ONE day, Monday - Sixt staff invited me to take FULL insurance. I did expecting to not leave any deposit. Sixt then blocked €300,- as deposit(?!) and took their €200,-for the full day rental, before giving me the key. Their employee informed “you get your deposit back tonight when you return the car”. I drove less than 100km and returned it as I received it - unscathed. Requesting my deposit released I meet “sorry it takes 48hrs, it’s the system”. Today Saturday we are well past 48hrs and my deposit has not been returned/is not visible in my account. Accumulate and hold 5.000 clients deposits like this SIXT takes €1,5million liquidity from clients (per day) - so far it’s five days so they “borrow” €7,5million from their clients - unethical business practice to say the least.
