The car rental office is closed every day for lunch between noon and 2pm yet. The ferry from Dover arrives between noon and 12:30pm every day? Why make people wait 1 to 2 hours? This is very poor planning on the part of management. You can do better for your customers.

Prices are competitive and cars are perfectly clean and sanitised. Customer assistants are very helpful and kind. The problem is that there's no sign on the main building of Enterprise cars so you should guess that the office is inside Calais terminal. Don't give 5 just because I've waited 1,30 hour waiting for someone at the branch. A part from that i was happy to choose them.

We rented a car from Paris Montrouge, which is highly recommended and returned it here at Calais. They were very pleasant, helpful and quick with the return.

The car pick up process was smooth and easy. They are located in the ferry terminal easy to find and it was slightly busy but I was when the person was available. He was extremely helpful. But the scam part is when I returned the car, I was told to handover the key to the receptionist. I have requested her to check the car whilst I was there, but I was told that everything is okay. I handed the key and left the place for my ferry. I have received a damage claim from them requesting me to pay €1500 for a damage in the windscreen. As I was very sure that there wasn’t a damage when I returned, I have phoned the company and luckily it was answered by the same person who picked up my key, who raised the damage report. She said that there is crack on screen, therefore they raised the claim. Having asked more details she has directed myself to customer service who only has French only option. I’m still trying to not to pay for the damage which has happened when they had the car. Never leave the key without inspection, take plenty of photos or a short videos. They might turn around and charge your full excess €1500. No zero option, hence giving 1 star. I would never use enterprise again in my life.

Car was provided dirty inside and outside, model not as per rental request. After arrival, personal tried to say that old scratch is under my responsibility and I need to pay extra. As I made photo of that particular scratch while car handover, it was easy to push back. So, in case no change to avoid this service I highly recommend you make photo/video of car to avoid unnecessary discussions and stress.

AVOID!!! Never ever... Awful from beginning to end When arrived confusion over no car available. Then car broke down last day of holiday. No taxi or spared car offered. End up paying 300 euros to get to Calais on taxi that we had to order. We had 3 children upset and crying. Didn't helped us. Nightmare. AVOID!!!

Absolutely ridiculous. Our ferry was major delayed so I phoned the calais branch where I was collecting it and no one was answering after 13 calls someone answered and I told her whats happening and she put Me on hold for 20min. I hung up and called back and no answer Absolutely no answer. After atleast 20 calls it came to 6 o'clock so they was shut. (Why shut that early if you are operating at a ferry port). Came back the morning after and suddenly they have no cars. If there was a option for 0 stars I would do that.

Excellent customer service! Unlike typical rental car counters, they stepped up and stayed open for our reservation when they didn't have to. Long story short, we would have been stranded at the Calais ferry terminal overnight if they hadn't gone the extra mile like they did. We even got a bit larger car than we thought - NICE!
