It took me more than a week to receive the invoice for the rental. This delay in receiving the invoice created unnecessary uncertainty and inconvenience on my end, as I was eagerly awaiting the documentation for my records. Secondly, and more concerning, is the unexpected charge of €68.5 that appeared on my credit card statement but was not reflected in the initial invoice provided by Avis. When I contacted Avis customer service to inquire about this charge, I was disheartened to learn that your team could not locate this charge in the system and had no knowledge of its origin. As a result, I find myself out of pocket for an amount that remains unexplained. Given the ambiguity surrounding this charge and my belief that it is erroneous, I will be disputing this unauthorized amount with my card provider. It is disconcerting to encounter such discrepancies and difficulties in resolving them with a reputable car rental company like Avis.

Great cars. Great location ( La Rochelle wonderful). Easy pickup. Nice counter staff. Deposit repaid quickly (without any of the usual attempt to milk a bit more from you. ) Ps. Pays to shop around. Booking directly with Avis might not be the cheapest way to hire one if their cars!

Booked online, went there and they had no cars left, then they charged my card two-thirds three times. even though they cancelled my reservation and they told me there were no cars available.
